The Jazz Alliance is a 19-member big band jazz ensemble based out of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Founded in 2008, the band is made up of businesspersons, teachers, doctors, and other professionals, as well as professional musicians from Nashville, Mt. Juliet, and surrounding communities. The band features styles such as swing in the style of Glenn Miller and Les Brown, various latin styles, and funk and rock from various decades.

Under the direction of Joe Thordsen and Lisa Northcutt, The Jazz Alliance performs at events, dances, concerts, and festivals in Middle Tennessee, including the Wilson County Fair, Centennial Park Big Band Dance series, The Watertown Music Festival, providing pre-show entertainment for Shakespeare in the Park, and the Summerfest Music Series in Mt. Juliet.
